Pop princess, Ariana Grande, not only headlined Coachella this year, but she was also fortunate enough to headline Chicago’s music festival, Lollapalooza. This past weekend, the “7 Rings” singer surprised the audience by performing her new single “Boyfriend” for the first time since it’s release. Ariana also brought on stage her collaborators, Social House, on stage to perform the song with her.
According to MTV “Grande dropped ‘Boyfriend’ on August 2 and it came with a video featuring her making out with Social House’s Mikey Foster — that, and heart-shaped lasers firing from her boobs.”
Although, the song came out just a couple days ago, the audience seemed to know all of the lyrics already. Later that evening Ariana took on to Twitter to thank her fans and the festival. She tweeted “thank u lolla. u have my heart.”
