1. Gov. Janet Mills has ordered flags be lowered to half-staff through Monday, in accordance with the directive of President Joe Biden. The lowering of flags honors the one million Americans who were lost to COVID-19. That number includes 2,322 people from Maine.
2. More than 50 Brunswick High School students staged a walkout early Thursday afternoon amid allegations of sexual assaults that occurred at the school, and what they said was an inadequate response by the administration.
3. The Cumberland County Sheriff was rescued after a kayaking accident in Sebago Lake on Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff Kevin Joyce, who had overturned his kayak, was rescued by construction worker Tyler Leonard of Turner.
4. The New England Patriots announced their full 2022 season schedule last night. The slate features five nationally-televised games, including a Thanksgiving night game at the Minnesota Vikings.
