(News) Jay-Z Files Lawsuit Against Bacardi

Earlier this week, we discovered that Jay-Z’s SC Liquor filed a lawsuit against Bacardi to see the books about their D’Ussé cognac. Apparently, Jay-Z wants to sell his share of D’Ussé back to Bacardi, and he doesn’t want to come up short. Documents say SC Liquor agreed to a buyout last year. Bacardi is supposed to act in “good faith” to come up with a figure. According to the suit, D’Ussé reps are allegedly trying to “stall and stonewall” giving up the proper valuation.”
