- A shooting at a Chesapeake, Virginia Walmart left seven people dead Tuesday night including the shooter. Early investigation shows that it may have been a store employee who opened fire in a break room. (WGME)
- Whole Foods will stop selling Maine lobster after two sustainability groups pulled certification. Gov. Mills, along with Senators Collins and King, and Reps Pingree and Golden, said they are disappointed by the decision. Data shows that none of the recent whale entanglements were linked to Maine lobstermen. (WMTW)
- The Federal Highway Administration is allegedly saying signs like “Hocus Pocus Drive with Focus” are not in the government handbook. The feds reportedly told the people behind the signs in New Jersey to stop. The MaineDOT plans to release their Thanksgiving messages today. (WGME)
- The Maine-based investment group “USL to Portland” is on schedule to bring professional soccer to Portland by the 2024 season. Longtime NESN studio host and Lewiston native Tom Caron is joining the ownership team. (WGME)
