About a month ago I saw that Marcus Smart, starting point guard of the Boston Celtics, was posting about an exciting announcement he had coming up. What could it be? Well, he’s a basketball player, so surely he has a sneaker deal or merch drop incoming, right? How about his very own cereal – cleverly called, “Wicked Smarts”. Or, as many from Boston to Maine and everywhere in between would refer to them as, Wicked Smahts!
The cereal is very reminiscent of (but better than) Lucky Charms, and if you buy the more expensive option from PLB Sports & Entertainment you’ll receive a sticker and bowl bundle as well! Seeing as I’m a huge Celtics fan, I had to opt for the more expensive package ($45 as opposed to $25) so that I could have some collectible items. I’m making my way through the first box and plan to keep and wrap the other as well as the bowl because who knows, maybe it’ll be worth something someday. It certainly will be when the Celtics go on and win Banner 18 this year!
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Marcus’s YounGameChanger Foundation. Shout out to Smart being a man of the people!
