1. An Alfred man has been charged with the murder of his wife, after officials found her dead in their home. Responding to a disturbance report, officials discovered Kristan Crow’s body. James Crow was apprehended in the parking lot of a gas station six miles away in Lyman and is set to appear in court on Wednesday. (WMTW)
2. Former Maine gubernatorial candidate Eliot Cutler plans to change his plea in a child pornography case. Last year, Maine State Police raided two of his homes and found thousands of videos of “very young children being sexually abused.” He previously pleaded not guilty. (WMTW)
3. Maine’s AG has issued a warning about paving scams after a recent increase in complaints. Scammers pose as contractors and offer to pave driveways or parking lots at a low cost, but use substandard materials or don’t complete the work. (WGME)
4. The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum in Bethel is offering a $25,000 reward for a piece of a meteorite that fell in the area last weekend. NASA believes fragments could be found in Washington County. (WGME)
