1. A Scottish man who was the groom at the 2015 wedding that sparked the blue/gold internet dress debate has been reportedly charged with the attempted murder of his wife. Keir Johnston appeared Monday for a preliminary hearing on the charges in the Scottish High Court. Prosecutors allege over nearly 11 years he repeatedly assaulted his wife. (USAToday)
2. Portland police say two women reported being drugged while drinking at the same business in the Old Port on Thursday July 13th. The business was not named. Surveillance video is being reviewed as part of the investigation. (WMTW)
3. Car thefts are on the rise in Portland. Police said 66 vehicles have been stolen so far this year, compared with 46 during the first seven months of 2022. In two-thirds of the cases, the keys were left inside the car for the taking. (BDN)
