Sometimes you forget how many hits and moments artists have over the course of a career that’s already run more than a decade and still counting, but Big Sean made sure to remind everyone as he recently hit NPR’s Tiny Desk. In this 25 minute set featuring some amazing vocals and strings, among other live instrumentation, Sean somehow managed to squeeze in 14 songs. Not only is it really cool to hear him get introspective during the brief moments in between songs, but to hear the way the musicians all seamlessly transition from song to song just goes to show the high level of musicality.
Fresh off the release of some of his first new music since 2022, Sean teases that a new album is on the way. This Tiny Desk concert will have to hold us over in the meantime. Check it out below.
