International music sensation. Fashion icon. Hollywood movie star. Bad Bunny is just living the dream.
The latest endeavor for the global superstar finds him getting the chance to act alongside the legend himself, Adam Sandler, in what is a highly anticipated sequel to an absolute classic in Happy Gilmore. Usually, I find myself wondering, “do we really need a sequel/remake for that?” *ahem* looking at you, White Men Can’t Jump – but when the original director and minds behind the original are also taking the wheel all these years later, I can’t be mad at it.
Not only will Bad Bunny be featured in the film, but another high profile name in the Kansas City Chiefs’ own Travis Kelce will be finding his way onto the big screen for this one, too. No word on what exactly or how big their roles will be, but it’s rumored that filming has officially begun. As for Bad Bunny, this is just another step towards making this a larger part of his career, as he recently said in an interview, “you could say that I have been investing a little bit more of myself in acting.”
