1. The parking situation at The Falmouth Fall Classic youth soccer tournament was a bit cramped and some adults verbally abused student volunteers who were working in the parking lot. According to the Falmouth Youth Soccer Association president one frustrated adult intentionally struck a 14-year-old girl who was volunteering with a vehicle. The girl was not seriously injured and no charges have been filed. (WMTW)

3. Local 188 and Salvage BBQ, sister restaurants on Congress Street, have closed. No announcement was made on social media. But a sign posted in the Salvage window states it has indeed closed for good. Portland Food Map and News Center Maine confirmed the closing of Local 188. (PH)
4. This week’s full moon is known as the Hunter’s moon, which signals an acceleration into hunting season. Also a super moon, the Hunter’s moon will appear bigger and brighter than any other this year due to its closer proximity to Earth. The moon will be closest to us on Wednesday night around 9pm EST but will light up the night sky from Tuesday night through Friday morning. (CBS)
