1. Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday that “things are going to get worse” as COVID-19 infection rates rise in the US. Fauci stopped short of predicting more lockdowns thanks to those who have been vaccinated. (HUFF POST)

2. In a recent poll 87 percent of small business owners across the nation reported they are affected by supply chain disruptions on products including computer chips, meat, lumber, plastic containers and more. About 60 percent reported ongoing staffing shortages. (BDN)

3. Maine will publicly share information about COVID-19 vaccination rates among K-12 teachers and students this fall. The decision on masking in schools will be left up to individual districts. (BDN)

4. The price of a cup of coffee from Starbucks is about to go up. An increase is needed to cover rising operational costs. They have not indicated how big the price hike will be. (EATTHIS)
