1. Sen. Susan Collins was one of just five GOP senators to vote against a motion to dismiss former President Donald Trump’s historic second impeachment trial, given that he is no longer in office. The trial is set to begin the week of Feb.8th. (NEWS CENTER)
2. The U.S. tops 25.4 million covid-19 cases with over 425,000 deaths. The Maine CDC reported 11 new deaths and 662 new cases on Tuesday bringing Maine’s death toll to 558. Just over 25,000 Mainers have received both doses of their vaccination. (WMTW)

4. The baseball Hall of Fame won’t have any new players in the class of 2021. Curt Schilling, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens were the closest in voting. 5. Coke’s new canned coffee hits grocery shelves this week. The product comes in dark blend, vanilla, and carmel flavors and is made with Brazilian coffee.
