1. According to an investigative report released Sunday Nearly 400 law enforcement officials rushed to a mass shooting at a Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, but “egregiously poor decision-making” resulted in more than an hour of chaos. The report said “law enforcement responders failed to adhere to their active shooter training, and they failed to prioritize saving innocent lives over their own safety.”

2. More than half of Maine is experiencing moderate drought conditions leaving farmers increased irrigation costs, resulting in higher prices of fruits and vegetables. Blueberries however are ready almost a week ahead of schedule.

3.Construction season in Portland has led to a rise in rat complaints. The city has deployed more tech-savvy traps that don’t have poison but can still get the job done. Since last April, around 5,900 rats have been captured and eliminated in the city.

4. The 2022 Yarmouth Clam Festival wrapped up Sunday with the Diaper Derby! Over one hundred families signed their toddlers up for the event. Prizes were offered to the first- and second-place winners in groups based on age.
