1. Alex Murdaugh was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole for murdering his wife and son. (JN)

2. Doctors for President Biden revealed that he had a basal cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer, removed from his chest last month. (JN)

3. Lawrence Girls basketball defeated Brunswick to win the Class A state title.  In the final seconds, Brewer boys defeated Falmouth for their first state title.  All of Saturday’s state title games were postponed until this week. Class AA games take place tonight at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.  Oxford Hills takes on Gorham in the girls’ title game, while rivals Portland and South Portland meet for the boys’ championship. 4. March is Women’s History Month. Wed is International Women’s day. The day marks a call to action to create a more inclusive world and celebrate women’s achievements.  Over 200 people gathered Sunday at Willard Beach for a cold plunge to celebrate. (PH)

5. Target is planning to add drive-up service for returns at all locations by the end of summer. A statement from Target said, “You’ll soon be able to skip the line or mailbox and pull right in — to your nearest Target Drive-Up spot.” (CBS)
