  1. Election day is tomorrow!  Gov. Mills will be visiting downtown Bath, meeting with SMCC students in So Po and holding her final campaign rally in Lewiston today.  LePage also has a campaign rally in Scarborough scheduled for today. The most recent poll has Mills with an 8-point lead in the race. (WGME)

Rockland Police say they’ve responded to nearly 100 calls involving a handful of 12-16 year olds over the last three months, mostly during the day when they should be in school. “They’re well aware that regardless of their actions, they’re going to be taken to the police station, fill out some paperwork and they’ll be back out the door in a half an hour,” Rockland Parks and Rec.   1. Maine Senator Susan Collins is throwing her support behind Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz of Pennsylvania. Oz is locked in a tight battle with Democrat John Fetterman in a race that many believe could determine the balance of power in the Senate. (WGME)


  1. A record Powerball jackpot grew to an even larger $1.9 billion after no one won the lottery drawing on Saturday night. Since someone won the prize on Aug. 3, there have been 40 drawings without a winner. (PH)


  1. Rookie shortstop Jeremy Peña was named MVP following the Astros World Series win on Saturday. Peña was a star at the University of Maine, where he played three seasons for the Black Bears, starting every game of his career. (WMTW)
