1. The United States coronavirus cases top 842,000: America’s death toll stands at more than 46,500. President Donald Trump said he has signed an executive order banning all immigration into the US over coronavirus fears. (WGME)

2. Georgia’s Governor Kemp announced earlier this week that as of Friday elective medical procedures could resume in Georgia, and that barbershops, nail salons and gyms could reopen with restrictions. Theatres and Limited in-restaurant dining is scheduled to resume on Monday. President Trump who has stressed the importance of reopening states sooner than later, said Wednesday that he “disagreed strongly” with the decision saying, “It’s just too soon.” (WGME)

3. As of Wednesday’s Maine CDC briefing 39 Mainers have died out of 907 confirmed COVID-19 cases. 144 Mainers have been hospitalized, 455 Mainers have recovered. (CNN)

4. The CDC has expanded the list of coronavirus symptoms to include Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, and New loss of taste or smell. Previously the CDC only listed three possible symptoms, cough, fever, and shortness of breath. (WGME)

5. Wendy’s is giving away free chicken nuggets at its drive-thru restaurants this Friday. Customers only need to turn up to a Wendy’s drive-thru to claim four-piece nuggets for free, with no purchase necessary. Customers can claim either the spicy nuggets or crispy nuggets. (NEWS WEEK)
