1. In a court filing, the Justice Department said, US government documents were “likely concealed and removed” from a storage room at Mar-a-Lago as part of an effort to “obstruct” the FBI’s investigation into former President Donald Trump’s potential mishandling of classified materials. More than 320 classified documents have now been recovered from Mar-a-Lago, including more than 100 in the FBI search earlier this month.

2. Portland police responded to a report of a man unconscious on a sidewalk in the area of Cumberland Avenue and Cedar Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. The 27-year-old man from Portland, was the victim of an apparent robbery and assault.

3. A new program is offering $250,000 to help South Portland residents go green while saving some money. The “Electrify Everything” rebate program is meant to help South Portland reach its goal of being carbon neutral by 2050. The program will offer qualifying households up to $2,000 total savings on everything from e-bicycles to electric cars, heat pumps to insulation and even lawn equipment.

4. The Scarborough Planning Board has approved plans to build a Costco at The Downs development. The plans call for a 161,100-square-foot store as well as a gas station and nearly 800 parking spaces. This will be the first Costco in Maine. It will sit on a 19-acre lot at the corner of Payne Road and Scarborough Downs Road within the new The Downs development.

5. A new facility on Portland’s East End is aimed at making it easier for cancer patients to get to treatment. The Dempsey Center is making new use of an old building called, Clayton’s House. Acting as a hospitality home at no cost for clients who come to Portland for cancer treatment.
