After members of the Maine Maple Producers Association were forced to sadly postpone the event last year due to the pandemic, locals were left longing for their favorite maple treats.
Luckily, Maine Maple Sunday is happening according to plan this year! After 38 years of tradition, sugar house owners and maple syrup lovers are celebrating the sweet day this Sunday the 28th.
This time around, Mainers will be able to attend Maine Maple Sunday with CDC guidelines in place. Some sugar houses are even offering curbside pick-up and online ordering, so that everyone can participate comfortably!
While things won’t be exactly the same, it’s so refreshing to see Maine traditions returning to the scene.
