After watching UFC 250, Conor McGregor told ESPN that he’s no longer excited by the sport and is retiring from fighting. “I’m a bit bored of the game,” the UFC star said. The fighter said he even wrote a retirement statement a couple weeks ago. “I’m going through opponent options, and there’s nothing really there at the minute. There’s nothing that’s exciting me,” he said. McGregor has already “retired” on Twitter a couple of times, first in 2016, and then again in 2019. UFC president Dana White said, “if Conor McGregor feels he wants to retire, you know my feelings about retirement — you should absolutely do it.”
