Before the ceremony, a procession took place with his red casket being carried by a monster truck that read “Long Live DMX”. A non-stop wave of Ruff Ryder motorcyclists accompanied the monster truck to the Barclays Center. Also on Sunday the State of New York declared his birthday December 18th Earl “DMX” Simmons Day.
