10 years ago today, a classic and influential mixtape released, and it sparked the career of the megastar we know today as Drake. That mixtape is none other than So Far Gone, the third official mixtape from the Canadian artist who may have been better known as “Wheelchair Jimmy” at the time.
For years fans have yearned for the project to make it’s way to streaming services, but to no avail. A sample clearance issue with the song “Say What’s Real” which samples Kanye’s “Say You Will” could be at the center of that dilemma, but it appears as though the two have put their differences aside as the sample has been cleared.
For the announcement, Drake typed up a heartfelt message as his IG caption, acknowledging all of the people that helped take his career to the next level with the release of this project a decade ago.
Check it out below and look for So Far Gone on your favorite streaming service tomorrow.
