Kanye West has finally reached a long term goal that he had set back for himself in High School. Rewind back to Ye’s high school days when he was making 5 beats a day for 3 summers he was also working part time at a Gap store in Chiacgo. Fast forward to present day Kanye just teamed up with brand for a 10 year deal to have his very own line that will be carried by the retailer! In a 2015 interview with Vouge Kanye said “One of my dreams was to be the head creative director of the Gap,” adding that he’d “like to be the Steve Jobs of the Gap.” The New York Times reported that the collab will be called ‘Yeezy Gap’ and will be available in Gap stores and online during the first half of 2021. Kanye fans may rember one of his first hit songs “Spaceships” which dropped in 2004 was loosely based around his job at Gap and even named dropped the brand! Who else plans on buying some Yeezy Gap when it releases?!
