NBA players have been living in a strict quarantine bubble, but all that could change by the end of the month. The league detailed policies for players to bring family and friends into the bubble in a memo on Wednesday. Only teams that advance to the second round of the playoffs will be eligible. The earliest date for a guest to satisfy league quarantine rules would be August 31. Players will be limited to 4 guests, with exceptions, and those guests will have to be family members or “longtime close personal friends.” Private security staff or family child care providers may also qualify. Once inside, guests would have to remain in the bubble.
