Role Model released his debut album on Friday! ‘Rx’ features 11 completely solo tracks and has a playtime of about thirty-five minutes. The Cape Elizabeth born singer whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury has had a steady climb to fame since signing to Interscope Records in 2018. Back in 2017, he released ‘Arizona In The Summer’ which was his first official mixtape under the pseudonym Role Model. After listening to this project Mac Miller invited Tucker to Los Angeles where the pair worked on music together. In an interview with DIY in 2019 Tucker references meeting Mac by saying “when I finally met him in LA I think that was the most pivotal moment in my life. Never stopped working after that.” Included with the release of ‘Rx’ was a music video for the title track. The entirety of the visual is him riding around in a truck while the lyrics being sung are about him being vulnerable and opening up about all types of relationships. Let us know what you think!
