The first annual Maine Needs Community Walk/Run event, taking place in two Maine towns in support of basic needs for all. This event is a love letter to Maine – an opportunity to celebrate all that makes our state a truly special place to live. Open to all skill levels and abilities, we invite Maine residents and those from away to gather and walk, run, wheel, push a stroller, all in the spirit of solidarity and supporting others. Saturday, May 24th, 9am start. Payson Park, Portland, 3.6 mile loop around the Back Cove. Sunnyside Park, Lewiston, 2 mile out-and-back trail. Both events are family-friendly and open to all!
