Chris from Coastal Remedies and Frank the Barber from Faded stopped by to share details about their Bags For Books event, happening Friday, 9/26, from 5–7pm at Coastal Remedies. Ryan Deelon will be broadcasting live as the celebration brings together local vendors, food, DJs, and plenty of deals to close out summer and kick off the school year. All month long, Coastal Remedies has been running a $500 “Bags For Books” giveaway, where students could enter by spending $10 with a valid college ID. Winners will be announced during the live broadcast.
On event day, Ryan will be live at Coastal Remedies, while Hayley visits sister stores Kind Acres in Biddeford and Purple Co in Portland. Vendors featured on-site at Coastal Remedies include Mainely Rooted, Faded, and Living Matter.
Beyond the fun and prizes, the focus is on supporting local—local vendors, local dispensaries, and Maine-made products.
