The Bangor State Fair is back, and this year’s event is bigger than ever!
I got to catch up with Jonathan Howorth, Senior Marketing Manager at the Cross Insurance Center, to get all the details on what fairgoers can expect when the Bangor State Fair returns July 30th through August 8th.
One of the biggest changes this year is the schedule. Instead of taking a break in the middle of the event, the fair will run for 10 consecutive days, giving visitors even more opportunities to enjoy everything Bass Park has to offer!
Of course, all of your favorite fair traditions are returning, including thrilling carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, delicious fair food, games, and fun for the entire family. If you’re planning to hit the midway during the week, there’s even more good news – weekday admission includes a carnival ride wristband, making it easier than ever to enjoy unlimited rides!
The entertainment lineup is also packed with exciting events. Music fans won’t want to miss the Marshall Tucker Band taking the stage on August 7th, while adrenaline seekers can check out the Dialed Action Sports BMX/FMX Show on August 6th. If roaring engines are more your style, be sure to catch the demolition derbies on July 31st and August 8th.
The Bangor State Fair will once again take over Bass Park and the Cross Insurance Center, transforming the area into one of Maine’s biggest summer celebrations!
Tickets are available now through the Bangor State Fair website. Whether you’re coming for the rides, concerts, motorsports, or classic fair food, there’s something for everyone during this 10-day event.
