We squeezed in our second live broadcast of the Sea Dogs season at Hadlock Field during a rainy Memorial Day weekend. Fun fact: the Sea Dogs are currently second in the minors this year… in postponements. Not the most exciting stat, but maybe we’re just getting all the rain out of the way early so we can enjoy a sunny summer.
It was also First Responders Day, and we were set up right next to the Portland Fire Department. They were promoting their upcoming Sirens Cup hockey charity game, featuring Portland Fire vs. Lewiston Fire. Proceeds will benefit the Portland Firefighters Children’s Burn Foundation.
