What would you do for $25,000?
After a meteorite fell from the sky, the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum in Bethel is offering a $25,000 reward for the first meteorite they receive – weighing 1kg or more.
They predict that it landed in a field near Waite, Maine and Canoose, New Brunswick.
I personally would have no idea what to look for, so here’s a link to help with identifying a meteorite!
You better hurry up and start looking though! This reward is being offered to anyone who finds it in Canada too.
Make sure you get permission before potentially trespassing on someone’s land and if you do find something… can I borrow some money?
