In times of crisis, communities come together to make a difference. That’s exactly what’s happening with the Sending Love from Coast to Coast fundraiser, an initiative supporting the Pasadena Humane in response to the devastating fires in Los Angeles.
I recently had the chance to chat on-air with Mia from Good Stock Maine, one of the driving forces behind this effort. Inspired by the urgent need to help animals affected by the fires, Mia and a group of Maine-based businesses teamed up to launch this fundraiser. With the help of Kyle from Catalyst for Change Wear, they’ve created beautifully printed t-shirts and bandanas, with 100% of proceeds going directly to the Pasadena Humane.
The response has been overwhelming, with over $5,000 raised so far—halfway to their $10,000 goal. These funds will provide essential support, from emergency rescue and sheltering to long-term wildlife rehabilitation, ensuring that animals impacted by the fires receive the care they desperately need.
Want to support the cause? You can purchase fundraiser items at cfcwear.com, with all proceeds benefiting Pasadena Humane. Every purchase helps spread love from coast to coast, offering hope to animals in need! Friday at midnight is the deadline to buy.
Let’s come together and make a difference—one shirt, one bandana, and one donation at a time. ❤️
