The U.S. tops 27.8 million covid-19 cases with over 490,000 deaths The Maine CDC reported three new deaths and 104 new cases on Wednesday bringing Maine’s death toll to 654 with 91 Mainers currently hospitalized. 3. Androscoggin County Commissioners rejected an anti-mask message Wednesday. “There is no authority in the County Commission to overturn state law in any way, and therefore we have no jurisdiction over this matter,” Commissioner John Michael said. (WGME)

The University of Maine unveiled details Wednesday of a $110 million project to upgrade athletic facilities that will include a new basketball facility and enhancements to the football stadium and hockey arena over the next decade.
