1. 13 people are dead, including a sheriff’s sergeant and the gunman, after a shooting inside a crowded Southern California bar late Wednesday. The first reports of shots fired came around 11:20 p.m. at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, which is about 40 miles west of Los Angeles. The Democrat said she will expand Medicaid as soon as possible after she takes office in January and becomes the first woman to serve as governor in Maine’s 198-year history. “We are going to work very hard on Medicaid expansion, No. 1. … And the opiate epidemic: we’ve got to tackle that now. 4. Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad spinoff movie will focus on the misadventures of Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman. Bryan Cranston said Wednesday he hasn’t been asked to reprise the role of Walter White, who died in the series finale. Filming is set to begin this month in New Mexico and will wrap in February.
