1. London’s Metropolitan Police says a fire on the London subway has been declared a “terrorist incident. The force says counter-terrorism officers are leading the investigation into the incident at Parsons Green station, where 18 people were hospitalized. London Ambulance say non of the victims are thought to be in a serious or life-threatening condition. (WMTW)
2. North Korea has launched its second missile within a month, forcing Japanese authorities to issue a warning to citizens to seek shelter. South Korea immediately responded with a missile test of their own. (LATIMES)

The University of Maine’s Sept. 30 football game at the University of Central Florida in Orlando has been canceled to allow the Knights to play an American Athletic Conference game against Memphis.Central Florida’s game against Memphis was postponed last weekend because of Hurricane Irma and needed to be rescheduled. “They had to choose between us and playing a conference game,” said Karlton Creech, Maine’s athletic director. “They chose the conference game.
