1. Hillary Clinton won Kentucky yesterday by a half of percentage point. Bernie Sanders easily won the Oregon primary. Clinton maintains an overall lead with only one significant night remaining, June 7. Win or lose the states in play that night, she is expected to formally clinch the nomination. (CNN)
2. A fireball shot through the Maine sky just before 1 a.m. Tuesday. Portland police officer, Sgt. Farris, captured the meteor on his dashcam. The Maine Mineral & Gem Museum is offering a $20,000 reward for anyone who finds a 1-kilogram piece of the meteorite. (WMTW)
3. The Philadelphia 76ers have won the NBA draft lottery and will have the No. 1 pick in June. The Boston Celtics, with a pick dealt to them by the Brooklyn Nets, remained in the No. 3 slot. (WMTW)
4. A recent list of the best lobster rolls in Maine and Massachusetts from 10best.com, a list site from USA Today, has a lot of the usual suspects. Red’s Eats in Wiscasset makes an appearance, as does The Clam Shack in Kennebunkport. Seven of the 10 are in Maine. The big surprise here is the top spot, which goes to Bayview Takeout in Beals. 5. A new startup is working on a smart tampon called my.Flow, intended to help manage and track menstruation needs. my.Flow isn’t so much a smart tampon as it is a bluetooth sensor that connects to a traditional tampon. The sensor talks to a smartphone app. (Mash)
