- A candlelight vigil was held Sunday night on the campus of Maine Maritime Academy to memorialize the four students killed in a car crash early Saturday. Two students were from Maine. Three additional students were injured in the crash. (WMTW)
- A Portland man is being held at the York County Jail after police charged him with a murder in connection with a shooting near Sherman and Mellen Streets in November. 21-year-old Tristin Chamberlain of Portland turned himself into the York County Sheriff’s Office Sunday afternoon. (WGME)
- Portland police are investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday morning outside Rick’s Cabaret. A group was refused entry by staff and as they were leaving the parking lot several gunshots were fired from their car toward the club entrance. A 39-year-old man was struck by a bullet. (PH)
- Pat Callaghan anchored his last newscast for NewsCenterMaine last week. He retired after 43 years with the station. No one has anchored television newscasts in Maine for longer. (NCM)
