2. Three apartment buildings are destroyed and several people hurt in Rumford after a massive fire Sunday night. Six people were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation and injuries from jumping from the second building. The area remains unsafe, and the buildings may continue to collapse. 3. A week after it was initially reported, the blockbuster trade sending former AL MVP Mookie Betts and pitcher David Price from the Boston Red Sox to the Los Angeles Dodgers has been completed. Boston will now receive Alex Verdugo, shortstop Jeter Downs and catcher Connor Wong in exchange for Betts. The Red Sox will also pay half of the $96 million owed to Price. (ESPN)

Netflix announced Thursday that users will now be able to disable the autoplay feature if they so choose. “Members can now control whether or not they see autoplay previews on Netflix.” The company retweeted a Twitter user who’d complained, “My entire kingdom for a way to turn off the autoplay while browsing Netflix.” That user reacted by tweeting, “I can’t believe I, the one who defeated Netflix browsing autoplay, now have to go do my own dishes.” (NECN)
