1. The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Maine continued to decline on Sunday. A total of 222 patients were hospitalized with the coronavirus. By comparison, there were 436 on Jan. 13.
2. Two Harpswell residents escaped without injuries after their car rolled over and caught fire in Oak Ledge Cemetery. The vehicle was destroyed, and authorities say there was some damage to the cemetery.
3. The annual winter festival Carnaval Maine is seeing an average of 2,000 visitors a day. The event started on Friday and goes through next Saturday with entertainment for all ages including live music, food and craft beer.
4. Sunday night in Cleveland, Team LeBron defeated Team Durant 163 – 160 in the 2022 NBA All Star Game. With 16 three-pointers, an All-Star Game record, Steph Curry was named MVP. The kid from Akron, LeBron James hit the game-winner.
