2. On Monday, President Trump hosted thousands of children on the White House’s South Lawn for the annual Easter Egg Roll. There, he trashed Democrats for their inability (thus far) to help preserve DACA, which is intended to protect undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children from deportation. “Democrats have really let them (immigrants) down–it’s a shame,” Trump said in response to a reporter’s question while signing children’s artwork at a picnic table. 3. The Valentine’s Day cookies that allegedly got Maine day care workers high did not contain marijuana or any other intoxicant, officials said on Monday. “Those cookies were sent to the state crime lab for analysis and, after thorough testing, none of the cookies tested positive for controlled substances,” Bangor police Sgt Wade Betters told the Bangor Daily News. After consuming the cookies, which were brought by a parent, two workers reported feeling “woozy” while 10 other people exhibited “similar but less intense symptoms.” Police still aren’t sure why the cookies made employees feel odd, but don’t plan on charging anyone with a crime.
