- More than 100 migrants were dropped off in front of Vice President Kamala Harris’ home on Christmas Eve. They were outside in 18 degree temperatures until they were driven to a nearby shelter. The White House said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott is responsible and accused him of “political games.” (JN)
- Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 3-year-old in Lincoln County. The child’s death was reported Christmas morning around 7:37 a.m. The 911 caller told police that a child was not breathing. (PH)
