1. A 31-year-old man from Maine, who was reported missing in Massachusetts by family back in December 2022, was found dead Thursday. Michael Gray’s body was found on the shore near Edgemere Road in Marblehead, Massachusetts, by a woman walking her dog. Detectives from the Peabody and Salem police departments, along with troopers from the Essex County District Attorney’s Office and State Police Detective Unit, are investigating the case. (NCM)

2. When Super Bowl LVII kicks off in Arizona on February 12, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts will make history. For the first time ever, two Black starting quarterbacks will play against each other in the championship. If the Eagles beat the Chiefs, Hurts would become the fourth Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl, joining Mahomes, Doug Williams and Russell Wilson. (CBS)

3. Some eligible Mainers will soon receive their $450 in winter energy relief repayments. Gov. Janet Mills announced the first round of checks were mailed on Monday. The goal is to mail out 200,000 checks per week until all payments are processed. (WMTW)

4. The application process for the 2023 Maine moose permit lottery is officially open. The deadline to enter the lottery is May 15. The official drawing for moose permits will be held on June 10 in Augusta. (WGME)

5. If you’ve purchased a Celsius drink in the last seven years, you can be eligible for a payout. The mega-popular energy drink brand was sued for claiming “no preservatives” on their label, even though the drink does contain citric acid. You will need proof of purchase, such as a receipt, to be able to receive up to $250. If you don’t have proof of purchase, the company will still give you $20. (CBS)
