33-year-old actor Robert Pattinson, known most for his role as Edward Cullen in the movie series Twilight has been officially confirmed by Warner Brothers to play Batman in the upcoming film, set to come out June 2021. The film is being directed by Matt Reeves, who is known for directing the past two Planet of the Apes movies, so get ready for some crazy CGI. Robert Pattinson hasn’t hit gold so to speak with his roles since Twilight, so we’ll see if he can produce another masterclass as the new Batman. This is a fresh switch-up for the Batman movies, with Christian Bale as the last person to suit up to save Gotham City in a legitimate Batman movie.
