Bone Thugs-N-Harmony received their Hollywood Walk of Fame star this week, marking a significant milestone in their 35-year career in the music industry!
The ceremony featured speeches from Ice-T and Fat Joe, both of whom praised the group’s unique sound and enduring influence on hip-hop. Joe highlighted the large turnout of fans at the ceremony, noting that it demonstrated the group’s lasting impact and influence in the music scene.
All five original members – Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone – attended the event, reflecting on their journey and expressing gratitude to fans and family. The group gained prominence after being signed by Eazy-E of N.W.A., with their breakthrough project, “Creepin on ah Come Up,” introducing hits like “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”
Some of their biggest achievements include three chart-topping albums and a Grammy, with “Tha Crossroads” recognized as a major hit and tribute to Eazy-E. They expressed in a statement that receiving the star is a blessing and dedicated the honor to their families, city, and fans, showcasing their ongoing commitment to creating music.
