Cardi B is pulling the plug on her marriage, yet again. Her rep confirmed that she filed for divorce from Offset on Wednesday. The split has allegedly nothing to do with cheating. Sources say it’s, “a long time coming.” As we’ve heard before, the two have been growing apart for a long time. As one source put it, “They’re just disconnected from each other.”
If this feels like deja vu, you’re not wrong. Back in December, Cardi posted on social media, “You know when you just outgrow relationships … I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings … I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!” The split is “amicable” and Cardi has already hired a divorce lawyer. She’s asking for primary custody of their kids. They share a daughter, Kulture, 5, and a son, Wave, 2.
There has also been speculation that she’s expecting a third child, but Cardi has not publicly confirmed she’s pregnant or acknowledged the speculation. With that being said though, after seeing paparazzi photos, she’s absolutely got a baby in there. I guess we’ll see if that effects anything, divorce-wise!
