When you’ve gone 6 whole years between dropping albums it can feel like a daunting task to deliver on your next go around as the pressure mounts on you to return with some heat. After the success of her Grammy award winning Invasion Of Privacy and overall blistering start to her career, it’d be easy to understand why it’s getting hot in the kitchen for Cardi B.
In a recent interaction on Twitter with one of the GOAT’s in Missy Elliot, Cardi even voiced this as they discussed how it’s “time to experiment” with sounds and styles. Coming from somebody who definitely did their fair share of experimenting with their sound, Cardi would be wise to heed Missy’s advice, and it appears as though she plans to with her forthcoming album.
