They act like two legends can’t co-exist! Well, while I can’t confirm or deny the two were ever aware of each other, especially considering that Biggie’s life was taken from him far too soon, I can only imagine what they’d be able to conjure up together.
On MLK Day, Dave Chappelle made an appearance and performed along with Angela Bassett, The Isley Brothers, James Fauntleroy, and more out in LA. With the live band and the Isley Brothers performing “Between The Sheets,” Dave joined in on the performance while hyping the crowd up. Of course, the song serves as the prominent sample for Biggie’s “Big Poppa,” so the band decided to take it that direction with Dave lowering his voice and breaking out the opening verse of the classic hit.
