Drake just tried to make people’s dreams come true, and Jeff Bezos stopped it! He wanted to expand on the philanthropic nature of the 2018 “God’s Plan” video by doing a television show.
During his Drizzmas holiday live stream where he gave away prizes, Drake said, “This is a thing that I wanted to do ever since I shot that [‘God’s Plan’] video. I asked Jeff Bezos… The word I got back is that he didn’t want to do it.” He added, “The two days that I shot “God’s Plan” were the best days of my life. The joy that I experienced on those days, making other people happy, you know, changing their week, or their month, or their year, was an irreplaceable feeling.”
I have a feeling Drake doesn’t need Jeff Bezos in order to make this a reality. Would love to see this in 2025!
