Apparently Jay Z and Beyonce are just as big of Game of Thrones fans as every one else. Except, unlike everyone else, they’re insanely rich and can celebrate the show in a whole different way…
According to Emilia Clarke, who plays the platinum blonde “Mother of Dragons” Daenerys Targaryen, King Hova bought Queen Bey a dragons egg from the show. Considering dragons went extinct years ago and the three dragon eggs Daenerys received as a wedding gift from Magister Illyrio Mopatis were very likely the last ones in the world, they’re probably pretty expensive.
Clarke appears on the cover of the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar and revealed she once tried unsuccessfully to steal herself a dragon egg from the show’s set before adding, “Apparently Jay Z bought one for Beyonce. I don’t know.”
“They are really, really, really expensive and they are really f—ing heavy and serious works of art,” she added.
