Who doesn’t know the Macarena? I remember dancing to the Macarena when I was a kid back when it first came out in ’96 at parties and weddings and everywhere. It was and still is an iconic song!
Of course I didn’t really listen to the lyrics because I was 5. I don’t think I or anyone who grew up with this song will ever think of it the same now that I’ve read this.
Dirty raunchy stuff y’all. Did you know what the song meant? Have I just been completely in the dark until 20 years later? Maybe people will think twice when we play this at a party full of kids.
