Whether you love Ryan Gosling or don’t quite see the appeal, you have to admit – his new wax figure is a little creepy. Madame Tussauds in Berlin unveiled Gosling’s new wax likeness on Monday and fans immediately took to social media to argue that the wax figure does not do the heartthrob justice.
No one can seem to agree on what exactly is wrong with the figure. Is it the cold, dead eyes? Is it the forehead? Did the artist simply struggle with creating the right facial structure? If the whole thing isn’t terrifying enough for you – the figure even has a heartbeat that visitors can feel and hear.
It’s clear that Gosling’s attractiveness is difficult to replicate, but there is proof that it’s not impossible. In 2014, Madame Tussauds London also revealed a wax rendition of Gosling which turned out to be as hot as the real deal. Clearly they should be collaborating on these things.
A day after the unveiling of the creepy wax figure, Gosling nabbed an Oscar nom for Best Actor for his work in La La Land. With great news like that, we’re pretty sure that a bad wax figure isn’t even on Ryan’s radar.
