I can’t believe i’m saying this, but CALVIN was the one who wrote the ex-partner song FIRST. Safe to say, given Taylor Swifts record, we were all waiting for her to come out with some sappy love song about being heart-broken. Looks like Calvin Harris beat her to the punch.
The track is called “Ole,” and the weirdest part about it, is the fact that it’s written from Tom Hiddleston’s point of view. The lyrics make it more than clear … Calvin believes Taylor had hooked up with Tom way before she broke up with him.
For example, one line from it reads, “I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend. Being attentive, continue to pretend …”
Oh and don’t worry, if those lyrics still have you confused, he goes on… “You’ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you’ve been going through hell. Left him alone and you booked in a hotel.” “Low key you won’t tell none of your friends about me” (using Tom’s Thor character).
The music video is already shot and done, now it’s just a matter of time before we get to sit back, relax, and watch it all go down.
